At the Pond by Chaosgone

Pond reflects on cat

At the Pond

Reviewing the past, long ago,
Pondering the future, so far away.
Things we have done, things we will do,
A short break from time we take.

Silence, for a moment. Not a sound.
The world hangs quietly in balance.
Then the cat moves on, much to do.
Some day to the pond she will return.
